Tasmin, in the aforementioned case I should have mentioned this was hypothetical work time (staying at a hub)…not free time. The Captains in question were trying to work it with the stews during trips. It’s a bit of a different scenario when two people are not on the clock and not at a hub waiting to fly out the next day.
From my perspective, if being nice to a person makes you unattractive to someone else, that someone else is best avoided anyway. My husband is nice to everyone, and has ALWAYS been (I consider this to be a very attractive trait), and I believe very much in karma. That attractive brunette who thinks less of you for being a good person is going to look like death sucking on a lemon soon enough. Mean people don’t die young, but they get ugly early.

I don’t know anyone else who has had it done. And on the same leg even! Quite an experience, eh? When I was in childbirth (every time, never with anesthesia) I was reminded of the exact pain I had in my leg for the first few days. I think the apparatus hurt worse than the (first) break (and my leg was like cornflakes of bone splatter in some parts). I still have a floating fibula bone, it never fused. My x-ray is like entertainment for the medical staff when I get one done (recently had bunion surgery, before that I’d broke my right foot three times, the right ankle once more and sprained the right ankle twice).
